Medford 16 Unit Multifamily Residence

This new construction 16 unit multifamily residence was designed to meet LEED Gold standards. Panelized construction by Bensonwood included 12" thick insulated walls, floor and roof framing, and European triple glazed windows and doors. A large solar array on the flat roof provides enough energy to feed back into ther power grid. The site was formerly occupied by an auto repair garage and an aging one story commercial storefront, and the project required zoning approval and historical commission approval. There are a mix of unit sizes including 1, 2 and 3 bedroom units. Common amenities include a fground floor common room and basement exercise room and storage rooms.
