Project: Zuffante Family Residence
West Concord, Mass.

This 3000 sf house was designed for a family with 3 young children within walking distance of a new elementary school. The house is organized around a central kitchen surrounded by dining. living and play areas. 2nd floor bedrooms are organized around a central play area that has a view down into the living room. Energy efficiency and use of healthy, durable, environmentally friendly materials were key elements of the project.
 
The house was designed to provide a range of privacies from the open kitchen/living /dining area to a private “away room”. There are multiple views between interior spaces and also in the interior/exterior interplay.
